Nodular Cast lron Plunger Tip

　　By adding alloying elements and under-going special treatment,the grains of the structure are re?ned and the lattice is distorted and dislocated,which greatly improves the temperature resistance and wear resistance of the ductile iron,and produces a cast iron plunger tip with an ideal service life.

 

　　Instructions for use and notes of the plunger tip：

 

　　1.If there is unilateral wear of the plunger tip,check whether the shot sleeve and the sprue bush are misaligned;

 

　　2.When the cold mold is turned on,slowly inject a few aluminum strips(that is,pour the aluminum liquid into the shot sleeve,and wait for the aluminum liquid to solidify.Slow injection and extrusion),so that the shot sleeve,sprue bush and plunger tip are heated evenly,and the clearance is idealized to avoid the plunger being pulled;

 

　　3.The mechanical properties of the plunger will be lost when the temperature is high.It needs to be cooled by circulating cooling water to prolong the service life of the plunger;

 

　　4.The ductile iron graphite has a cluster structure,and the graphite clusters have oil storage and self-lubricating functions,but the spherical graphite clusters are extremely?ne.It is recommended that users use plunger oil with a smaller molecular weight for lubrication,which can greatly improve the service life of the plunger;

 

　　5.The user should determine the matching tolerance of the plunger and the shot sleeve according to the plunger material speci?cation,shot sleeve,cooling and other site conditions.The?t tolerance is usually determined by the expansion coe?cient of 0.10%.
